With just over a month to Christmas I not only need to crack on with my Christmas shopping but also make sure my own wish list is firmly planted in front of hubby, I’ve given up with subtle hints, as he never picks up on them. So I wanted to write a wish list of things that I would be as happy to receive as well as give this year.
My first pick, although expensive is a KitchenAid mixer, what better way to spoil your loved one, daughter or mum, its one of those gifts that keeps giving and you’ll reap the rewards with all the delicious creations made in it. I’ve included it in my list because currently Lakeland have an amazing deal with a whopping £200 off so this little beauty is down to £299.
Next, I’m thinking with my baking hat on and I love a nice apron. Laurraine from O’So Vintage gifted me one of her beautiful creations and I just love it. It’s perfect for preparing the Christmas Dinner and the detailed pocket and neck strap are just stunning. They come in a range of materials and start from £20. Go check them out on Instagram @osovintage.
Please Santa, I’ve been a good girl and really, really want the Winter candle from the White Company, they come in different sizes to suit all budgets and smell divine.
Those of you who follow my stories on Instagram will know I love to Hinch. If you know you know, wink wink! So although a strange gift I’d love to receive a minky bundle and I’m going to buy my teenage daughter one as she too loves to hinch. Hopefully it will encourage her to keep her room tidy and i’m sure will be the ‘joke present’ of the year.
A very local company to me in Poole is Lush, and I love everything about them from their ethos to their products. My daughter has had loads of birthday parties there and the staff are so friendly. I’ve been using their products for years, so they feature twice on my list. Firstly, I love a relaxing warm bath after a hectic day and their bubble bars are amazing. Christmas time they bring out gorgeous gift sets just for bathing.
I’ve yet to experience one, but I’d love a treatment at the Lush Spa, everyone who has gone raves about how good it is. The Synaesthesia Spa Treatment, a Metamorphic massage to completely transform your mind and body sounds good to me.
As you all know I bake, it’s what I do as a job and because of that no-one bakes for me. I guess they feel I’d judge them, so I would love a bisuiteers iced christmas tin, all to myself!
I spend alot of time outside with freezing feet, the joys of a horse in the winter, so I love a good pair of socks. Joules have smashed it this year with some really cute Christmas designs. I just need to make sure they stay mine and my daughter doesn’t get her hands on them.
I fell in love with these when I went into White Stuff recently, at £17.50 a box they would put a smile on anyones face.
So that’s my top picks for this year.
I hope you all get what you’d like for Christmas.
